how much should I save to learn how to drive?
dakin.hardwick asked:
I am 28 years old, and I have never driven a day in my life… How much should I save up to learn how to drive? I need driving instruction, somebody to take me out to practice, insurance, a car, gas, what else? How long should it take me, within reason? Could I learn to drive in less than a year?

$600 i guess Young Drivers is the best place
You’re never too old to get your driver’s license. I know a woman who received her driver’s license at 72 years of age.
Check for driving schools or driving programs in your city. Also, a driver’s education teacher in my city’s main high school held driving schools in his spare time during the summer. It was a 5 Day program for $1000. So, you may want to check with that respect. I would have at least $500.
Do you have any family members that you can pay to teach you? It would much cheaper if you could do that.
Best of luck.
Search driving school and learn with their car. Don’t forget defensive driving class.
